Non-Profit’s Love House Raffles

Some of the most popular and well-known non-profit organizations have been putting on house raffles for years. There are many helpful things homeowners can do to assist in making a house raffle successful. Taking photos of their home and placing onto the non-profit’s website would also be helpful and would help out-of-state ticket buyers to view the home. Another, which would really help with the marketing aspect of the raffle, is for the homeowners to do interviews with the media.

Most non-profits would love to have as much help as possible, especially from the homeowners. No, house raffles are not legal in Utah. In fact, gambling in general is completely illegal within the state of Utah. Currently, online gambling is illegal right now within the state as well, but some people are trying to change that for the upcoming year. The reason for the change is because monitoring the online gambling is going to be very difficult.
